I remember, only too well, the frustration of being a child and not understanding a subject. Then to have the fog cleared by a tutor, who took the time to explain things properly, and the great confidence that then gave me.  I look to give my pupils that same confidence in the subject I'm teaching them.  Learning isn't just about transplanting information from one brain to another - it should be liberating and inspiring.
